Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few frequently asked questions we have received. If you have other questions,

Q: When do signups start and end?
A: We will host signups at the Piqua Mall in January and February. Those who cannot attend the signups may complete an online registration during the first week of March ONLY! 

Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: We gladly accept cash, personal checks, or a major credit card as payment. Checks can be made out to "PJBSL". There is a $35 fee for returned checks and a $1.50 processing fee for credit cards.

Q: When is opening day?
A: Saturday May 1st. All teams will play this day. 

Q: Will we have to play on weekends?
  A: Yes. We plan on having games every other weekend on Saturdays with makeup games being played on Sundays.

Q: Is this a new group of people running things at Pitsenbarger or is this the same group, just with a different name?
A: This is a completely new group of board members who wanted to offer something different for the youth baseball and softball players as well as the parents and community. The City has agreed to enter into a lease agreement with us for three years. 

Q: Is this the same as the PYBSA?
A: No. This is something completely different.
